So I have been working for Maxim Health Services the past month and while it's not my dream job it's paying the bills and can have it's entertaining moments. I am generally at a Pediatric clinic at the Virginia Mason in Federal Way. My favorite person to work with is Nancy Roberts who is a spunky woman in her 70s. She cracks me up!
Each morning we have to set up of flu stations and generally that includes peeling syringes and bandaids. The other day while Nancy was peeling bandaids, somehow the phrase "bandaid stripper" came up. Nancy and I started cracking up at the idea of someone covering themselves in bandaids and then ripping them off as some sort of strip tease! You know the person who could peel it of slower and take the pain would be worth more money! It was a terrible conversation however it sure got us laughing!
Earlier last week, Nancy and I had a potluck where I brought potato soup and she brought Swedish nut cake! It was delicious and we both really enjoyed it! Nancy also always complains about the syringes that our boss, Travis, provides us. Don't get me wrong, they suck! But I just make do. Nancy on the other hand has tried numerous times to sneak the syringes back to the main office with no luck! :)
